With 27 years of experience, USXL founder and CEO Jim McGrane is a veteran of the business of equipment leasing, including leadership roles with such industry standouts as US Leasing, AT&T Capital, and Heller Financial. As Group President of Heller Global Vendor Finance, Jim was responsible for leading the company’s activities in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Jim is no stranger to building successful businesses, having launched AT&T's CapitaPlus business—later sold to American Express—and two successful management consulting practices. His expertise spans sales and marketing, business process and organization design, business development, and global relationship-building.
Mr. McGrane is currently a member of the Equipment Leasing & Finance Association’s board of directors and executive committee and previously served as Chairman of the Small Ticket Business Council.
Jim is a graduate of New York Institute of Technology. Along with his passion for business, he is equally passionate about music. Growing up in New York, he played percussion in traveling show bands and made studio recordings in a range of genres, from jazz to rock to pop. Today, he sings tenor in the church choir.
